XHTML is the new standard being adopted by the web community to ensure that web sites will be compatible across multiple platforms, and possibly not just your computer. From what I hear search engines are about to or already have begun re-indexing websites using these newer standards, this could be a great opportunity for all the up and coming website out there to get free search engine traffic by simply ensuring that there code is up to date and clean.
